We have been experiencing such beautiful weather here in Maine this winter and have been able to take advantage of really great hiking opportunities. With such little snowfall and mild weather so far, we have been able to hike with just hiking boots and dressing in light layers. Our route included starting from the parking area at the Airport Trailhead, walking up Carriage and Gauge Road to The Gauge Trailhead and then making our way to the Maine Hut Trail and then looping back to Carriage Road. Here are a few pictures of another great day out in nature and getting some sunshine.
