We have a few beautiful apple trees (Malus domestica) here in the yard in Maine. Every spring, the yard is filled with the wonderful fragrance of apple blossoms. During this time of year, I have the chance to take many photographs of these beautiful blooms. In the fall, these trees are then filled with plenty of apples for picking. We use them for baking and making a lot of apple sauce. If we have any leftover apples, we will bring them to the horses at the horse rescue. I think this is much appreciated by the horses. The birds will also pick at the apples that we leave a bit higher up on the trees. I suppose everyone makes out pretty well with enjoying the apple treats from our bountiful apple trees.
