The island of Capri is located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Penisula, which is located on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. Capri can be reached by daily ferries from Naples, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. The ferries dock at the Marina Grande and visitors can take the funicolare up to Capri Town. Some of the main features and attractions of Capri include, La Piazzetta, The Gardens Of Augustus and the limestone rock formations called the Faraglioni in the Bay of Naples and the Marina Grande.
